Micro blog: power of naming an object

Power of naming objects

Rumplestilskin’s principle is something like: “If you can name it you get power over it”

Noam Chomsky, the Palio anthropologist, suggests that almost around 200 thousand years ago human acquires the ability to synthesize two ideas to create the third one without changing the first two. Along with that humans recently gained ability to name objects gave this human species an unprecedented power over other species.

God created Adam and teaches his the names. Prophet Adam is then pronounced superior in intellect. What’s the relationship among those two apparently disjoined ideas?
